Product #: OD-1ST Trekking in the Carpathian Mountains . . . The best product you can have with you while trekking! No extreme altitudes this time, but from sunny days with flowers and gentle winds to blizzards, ice and snow all you need with you is the StromBreaker. Extremely light, very compact and it never failed to deliver outstanding performance. Winds were blowing 45 km/hr with snow; you could not even see one meter in front of your face, but we had to eat. Boiling a nice hot soup under those conditions was a matter of 3 to 4 minutes . . . It was a shocking experience! The other 3 trekkers that came with me were just as surprised as I was with the StormBreaker’s performance. I know two of them will look to buy one as soon as they get down to civilization. (George Baboi, Extreme Adventurer) The versatile, easy-to-use multi-fuel StormBreaker stove is lightweight, convenient and efficient. 43 judges from 12 countries and three continents were delighted to announce that SOTO’s StormBreaker stove was chosen as Winner in the category OUTDOOR > Hiking, Travel & Camping, at ISPO 2019. In other words, it was voted as one of the best products in this category.

This easy-to-fold stainless steel, aluminum and brass stove with slip-resistant pot supports, hose, tank and fuel support controller weighs in at 443 grams and it works with liquid or fuel gas.

Switch from standard fuel canisters to white gas without swapping jets and even invert canisters for increased performance in cold weather conditions using the folding “wing stabilizer” that is included in the package.

Cold and windy weather conditions? No problem with the StormBreaker. Cookware sits low to the burner head with a main flame of over 300 micro flames, utilizing the same wind-beating, low-profile, concave burner design that has earned SOTO’s WindMaster stove past awards, including Travel Tales HITT Seal of Approval for travel product excellenceGear Institute’s Best in Class Award and the 2018 Alpine Institute’s Guide’s Choice. Faster boil time. Less gas consumption. The amount of fuel consumed depends on the type of fuel used. If using a liquid mixture, it will consume 250 grams in about 48 minutes. If using petrol, it will take about 96 minutes to go through 480 ml.

A stove for all seasons. The generator of the StormBreaker is designed to be used with a liquid form of gas. While the fuel is going through the generator, it must remain in the liquid form to maintain an appropriate temperature.
Because the StormBreaker is a multi-fuel stove, the generator is designed to work with a predominately liquid form of gas. If the fuel canister is used in an upright position throughout the operation, it will feed the gas instead of the liquid form of gas which, in turn, will cause the generator to exceed the optimal temperature which may lead to various issues.
Correct operation procedures:
(1) When the operator starts the stove with a gas canister, the gas canister must be  right side up.
(2) Ignite the gas.
(3) After 5-10 seconds (depending on the ambient temperature), turn the gas canister upside down.
