04. 2014 / Great Traverse - Crossing the traversable routes through 100 highest mountains in Japan

The adventure racer, Youki Tanaka who challenges the worldwide races as the one of competitors, launched into a long adventure so-called “Great Traverse-Crossing the traversable routes through 100 highest mountains in Japan”. This adventure is to traverse the 100 highest mountains in Japan by walking on land and kayaking at sea with one stroke in seven months. He has started from Mt. Miyanouratake in Kagoshima on April 1, 2014. Now he pursues the goal of reaching Mt. Rishirisan in Hokkaido by the end of October this year.

12. 2013 / Jun Endo’s bike journey

the world's southernmost

Jun Endo’s bike journey launched from Miyazaki-pref., Japan in May 2012. In August 2012, he took a ferry from the Kobe, Japan to Shanghai, China with his bike and crossed the Eurasian Continent to Cabo da Roca, Portugal in November 10, 2013. Currently he continues the bike journey in South America and pursues the goal of reaching Ushuaia, Argentina, which is regarded as the southernmost city in the world. The SOTO MUKA stove has become his choice for his journey in the past two years.
